A lot of silence since Thom Tillis and Phil Berger rolled out that historic, epic voter fraud/error report. No doubt, they want to use it as a defense when they have to answer to the far right voting laws they passed last year. Time will tell.
Want to know a remedy for all their smoke and mirrors? Vote. Vote now.
Early voting is underway now. So, what are you all waiting for?
Here's a link to all the details you need:
Simple enough, right?
And here's the thing: if you want to really get the attention of elected officials, make them stop taking people for granted, and scare them into perhaps starting to do things for the people they are supposed to be serving, the best path is to vote in larger numbers.
Turn out is key. Apathy is what gives them all the green light to ignore the will of the people and pull the crap they keep pulling.
I would love to see this year's primaries and mid-term break turnout records. Would that not cause a few ripples in political circles, as they all suddenly go: "Oh, no! The people are voting! They must care about what we're doing!"
Call it a new political "Scared straight" campaign.
Let's just try it and see.
