The 2nd half of the annual Mt Xpress Best of WNC is out.  And, this year, Eddie Fox of KISS FM holds onto his number one slot, but I moved up from 3 to 2.

That's right, the strongest radio signal in all the land carried home the Gold, but the smallest signal, right here at 880 The Revolution, brought in the Silver this year!

I'm honored and humbled by this, and appreciate all of the support.  It has been a special couple of weeks here, and I realize just how lucky I am to be able to do what I'm doing here, with all of you.

There are VERY few Progressive radio stations in the land that have local focus shows.  Less than a dozen, so I have heard.  Which might make what I do among the rarest of things.

I want to share one of the best comments I got online from a listener, who posted last night, after I announced my standings in the polls:

Becca wrote: "What y'all lack in signal, you make up for in heart and soul. There are days when your show singlehandedly restores a little bit of my flagging faith in humanity. So, thank you for that."

I'm not sure how to respond to something like that, really.  It is hard to believe that I have anything to do with it all, but I know that I'll keep trying, and keep going for as long as they will let me!

Thanks for making it all the more special!
